LLS Enrollment Form 2023-2024

LLS 1000 is a first-year course offered to students who are registered with Student Accessibility Services.

The course is intended primarily to assist students with disabilities in their transition to university studies at York. Students at other levels may enroll but need to understand that the focus is geared towards the first-year experience.

LLS1000 will take place on Tuesdays from 11:30am to 2:30pm. This is an in-person course taking place at York’s Keele campus.

Information on this form is kept confidential. Once this request has been processed, you will be contacted to confirm that permission has been granted for you to enroll in the course.

You cannot register in this course prior to your enrollment window opening.

I understand the following about LLS 1000 it is structured as a first year introductory course it normally counts as an ELECTIVE enrollment is "with permission of the instructor". What this means is that once you have submitted this form, we will be contacting your Faculty to lift the restrictions on the course so that you can enroll. Once the permissions are lifted you usually have 48 hours to enroll in the course this is a small tutorial/seminar style class which is limited to 30 students
